Refunds, cancellation and delivery
What you get when you pay, when it starts, and when you can have your money back. Please read this before you pay.
What you are buying
invites.blog sells digital services only: passes and plans that unlock features for your events on this website and in the invites.blog app. Nothing physical is shipped. Every price is shown in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR), and your card is charged in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR). Dollar amounts on the site are approximate. Payments are processed in the Maldives by Bank of Maldives. Purchases made in the Android or iPhone app go through Google Play or the App Store instead; see Bought in the app below.
Delivery
What you buy is delivered to your account online, as soon as the bank confirms your payment, usually within a minute:
- A Gold or Platinum pass switches on for the event it was bought for, and covers it for a year.
- Another year of a pass extends that event's cover by a year.
- "Keep your photos" keeps the event's albums online for another year.
- Emailed invitations are added to the event's sending allowance.
- The Premium pass and Venue switch on for your account for the month paid for, and each automatic renewal extends it the moment it's paid.
You'll see it on the event's dashboard and on the Billing page, and the payment is listed under Billing. If something you paid for hasn't appeared within an hour, contact us with the date and amount and we'll sort it out.
There are no import, export or customs restrictions or duties, because nothing is shipped.
Refunds
Refunds are limited. Please note these before you pay:
- A pass, another year of a pass, or "Keep your photos" can be refunded in full until guests start adding photos to the event or invitations are sent under it. After that it is not refundable.
- Invitations we have already emailed for you are not refundable.
- The Premium pass and Venue can be cancelled at any time. They keep working until the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded.
- If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or what you paid for never arrived, you get a full refund.
How to ask for a refund
Email mohamed.imdaah@gmail.com or call +960 781 9157 within 14 days of paying. Tell us the account's email, the event or plan it was for, and the date and amount of the payment. We reply within 3 working days. An approved refund goes back to the card you paid with, in rufiyaa. How long it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank.
Disputing a payment with your bank instead of contacting us may suspend the pass or plan it paid for while the dispute is open.
Automatic renewal and cancelling
A pass is paid once and does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
The Premium pass and Venue renew automatically at the end of each month. The bank keeps the card you paid with on file, and we charge it at the price in force at the time; we email you a receipt each time. The review screen says this before you pay. If a renewal doesn't go through, we try again the next day and email you; after three tries, automatic renewal stops.
To cancel, turn off automatic renewal on the Billing page of your account, at any time, or contact us. Nothing more is charged, and the plan keeps working until the end of the period already paid for, which is not refunded. You can also stop using the service and delete your events at any time.
Bought in the app
Passes, "Keep your photos", emailed invitations and the Premium pass bought in the invites.blog app are paid to Google (Google Play) or Apple (the App Store), at the price the store shows you, and delivered to your account the same way as above.
- Refunds are decided by Google or Apple under their own policies, and we can't refund a store purchase ourselves. Ask Google through your Play account's order history, or Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. When the store refunds a purchase, what it paid for is withdrawn.
- The Premium pass bought in the app renews monthly through the store and is charged to your Google or Apple account, unless you turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the current month ends. Manage or cancel it in your Google Play or Apple account's subscription settings; our Billing page can't stop it. It keeps working until the end of the month already paid for.
- If something you bought in the app hasn't arrived within an hour, contact us with the date and the store's order number, and we'll sort it out.
Keep a record
Please keep a copy of your payment confirmation, your bank or card statement, and this page and our Terms, in case you need them later. Your payments are also listed on the Billing page of your account.
